Cortland’s UK leadership team is comprised of experts in build-to-rent development, asset management, and property management. By looking to best customer practices outside the traditional private-rented sector while leveraging our extensive experience in the US, we provide a leading apartment living experience in the UK that creates value for our residents, and in turn, our clients and partners.


Victoria leads the European business for Cortland where she is responsible for our strategic vision and growth as well as ensuring the we deliver for our residents and associates. She brings a wealth of experience in the real estate and construction sectors, having held positions spanning investment, development, business operations, finance and capital markets transactions.

Nigel leads all residential block property management operations with responsibility for the strategic vision, direction and growth of our eight operating businesses, drawing on 35 years of experience creating the Qdime Group. Nigel’s background is in contracts and project management within the construction industry having worked with housebuilders and with developers on large scale commercial developments including Canary Wharf.

Owain spearheads and drives the planning and execution of the asset-level business plans across Cortland’s portfolio in Europe. He draws upon his nearly 20 years of experience in delivering real estate business plans to evaluate potential future investments in Europe and lead the origination strategy towards continued Cortland’s growth in this market.

Resham brings 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources across sectors, having worked in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations (globally), Engagement and M&A.
